Lighting : I thought back to the days when I was like 10 I had a strobe and basic sound to light 3 colour box in my bedroom. So 15 years later I thought why not do it again! 40mw green laser DMX unit. 1500w DMX strobe 250W DMX roller with 9 gobos 1000W smoke machine DMX controlled by Entec Open USB-DMX device and DMX control software. BCD2000 midi interface with Traktor 3.3 software.

Lens Tests : 18-55IS compared to the 18-55 kit lens. Must say I am still amazed and shocked how sharp this lens is, the leap in sharpness and detail from the kit lens is incredible. I had to do the test twice just for my eyes to believe what I was seeing! I believe I have a very poor performing kit lens (bad copy). A few people out there are questioning how bad the kit lens looks in this sample, I agree it looks terrible! But I don't think i've done anything wrong to give a fair comparison. (focus locked in same area, tripod mounted, timer activated to counter any shake due to pressing shutter etc.)
